Not from my graduation but my sister’s. She graduated on July 16 with a first class degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford. The ceremony was held in the Sheldonian Theatre where we watched students parading around in fancy gowns, bowing a lot, and being addressed in Latin. Photos here.
I’ve been away the last two weeks cycling up to Scotland with the G8 Bike Ride. We reached our final ‘official’ destination two days ago. I’m in Edinburgh at the moment typing this up in the Indymedia centre. I’ll be here for a few more days before heading up to the convergence space in Stirling. The Indymedia centre here is very active with reports coming in of actions outside, along with photos and video footage. Have a read through the Indymedia site for the latest.
